Sucess Story

SS came to IMCES directly from the LA County Jail System. After years of homelessness and many months of incarceration she decided that she had finally had enough. She took her recovery seriously because she knew that if she didn't accept help she would probably end up seriously addicted to drugs and homeless for life. Having a mental health condition only made her rehabilitation more challenging.

SS took her treatment seriously. She participated in individual therapy, group therapy and utilized case management services to help stabilize in the community . After many years of struggling, SS cleared her name in the justice system and felt that she was able to reenter society. SS she proudly graduated from the treatment program in June of 2020.
